Abdul-Majid Bhurgri is widely associated with the foundational development of Sindhi computing. His long-running work includes Sindhi installers, keyboard and font resources, digital publishing tools and public access to Sindhi writing on computers and the web.
His website records the launch of an early Sindhi website in 2001 and a sustained effort to make Sindhi usable across operating systems and online environments. As Patron-in-Chief, he provides historical continuity, institutional guidance and a clear reminder that language technology must remain useful to ordinary speakers.
